Polly's Pancake Parlor very pleasantly surprised me! I wasn't sure how much more delicious a pancake could get, but I'm happy I found out. The first thing to note before going to Polly's is to call ahead a few hours before you plan to go.

TL;Dr i don't really think this place is worth the wait - especially the 1.5 hour wait we did today (peak season!). Polly's should really implement a phone/online based waiting system like other restaurants instead of the pager system (due to which we had to stay in the premises for 1.5 hour instead of getting to explore nearby).

I came with lower expectations, as this is the last OG Pancake House in the Bay Area. The end of an era! But, the food, the service and the old school ambiance was on point!

Polly's came recommended so we made the 1.5 hour drive to try it. I was warned about the long wait but we only had to wait about 15-20 minutes at about 11:45am on a Friday in July so I guess that's not bad.
